Hi,
I've been doing Fezziwigs at Dickens Fair since 2000 (and '96) and was in Pryanksters and Seadogs at small faires and Black Point before that. Acting is fun, however, now I'm looking for a boothie who would be interested in either selling (or taking on consignment) Diamond Willow walking sticks that I recently found a source for.
So you can see what they look like, I posted one in my photos section.

They are 50 inches tall and beautifully polished.
Please let me know if you or someone you know would be interested in one of these.

Re: Looking for Boothie to sell my walking sticks
Wed, April 2, 2008 - 9:59 AMAre you looking to sell at the smaller faires or the Big Northern and Southern Faires... I am assuming this is in CA since you mention faires there.
Would this be a street vendor type thing a booth or ?
Depending on what it is you need, your inventory and well, if you can get it approved by the officials of the faire. I looked at the photo, nice piece, was wondering if you looking for street vendor or booth owner to do a consignment set up...
If your inventory is enough I see a great small business oportunity here for someone....sorry brain full of ideas wallet empty of coin -

Re: Looking for Boothie to sell my walking sticks
Wed, April 2, 2008 - 12:05 PMI live in Berkeley, so it would be Northern Faire and the smaller faires around. Fair Oaks and Folsom. For now, it's just me, so I was thinking about a booth owner to link up with and do a consignment thing. In that case, if the booth owner lived up here but went down to Southern, I could do that too. I'm open to ideas as to how to work this.

Re: Looking for Boothie to sell my walking sticks
Wed, April 2, 2008 - 11:00 AMAs pretty as that is, there is (or was last year) a booth that is already selling walking sticks at RPFS, if that's where you were intending to sell. -

Re: Looking for Boothie to sell my walking sticks
Wed, April 2, 2008 - 9:02 PMSuggest you contact Michelle Amsbury (currently running marketplace for the Dam faire in Irwindale. She has been coordinating for Casa and Southern - she has paired a few vendors with others that wanted to lessen the costs and expand the work force. I know she is on tribe - but might take some time to answer due to hell week right now and opening this weekend. She also has the say on if something will work at the faires. Last year she started with guest vendors to show for a weekend or two at Southern. Just a thought.
